"I take responsibility of failure" says Maumoon

Dhivehi Rayyithunge Party Leader Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, has acknowledged that he takes full responsibility of the loss at the October Presidential Elections.

Speaking at the special assembly held on Sunday night – the first since the party's Elections defeat, Maumoon said that the Elections didn't go the way the party wanted.
